1. Use Q-Claw to enter R's safehouse, Night of the Jackel

You begin the level outside the embassy. As you walk forward, a bus crashes open the gate and the terrorists begin their assault. There are two terrorists by the fountain, and several more sneak up behind the cars. Take the ones out by the cars first, then the rest outside the embassy. During this time, a sniper laser on the streets. Follow it to the source and take out the sniper. fire upon the enemies inside the embassy gates, but they ignore you if you do not.

Head around the embassy and M informs you that the terrorists have taken hostages, so sneak in. On the opposite side of the embassy from where you began the level, a road go back into the houses. Follow it. Several guards ambush you, so be on your lookout. Also try to avoid being seen by the sniper in the balcony above until you can get into position to shoot him.

At the end of the road, you should see some spots where you can Q-Claw. Pull out the Q-Claw and grapple up. Move around the ledge until you find the door to R's safehouse.

2. Infiltrate embassy, Night of the Jackel

Once inside R's safehouse, head to the bathroom. After watching the cutscene (where R gives you the keycard to the embassy), the shower lifts up to reveal a hidden passage. Go through and on a balcony near the embassy. Grapple over using the Q-Claw, then drop down and then up the steps. Go into the door and you are inside the embassy.

3. Rescue 5 civilian hostages, Night of the Jackel

Enter the embassy from a back stairwell. Go up the stairs. When you open the door at the top, a hostage screams and flees. Right behind her is a terrorist; take him out. Turn left and shoot the terrorist guarding two more hostages. Proceed further down the hall and a room with large glass windows. There are three terrorists inside. You can get the jump on them, so fill one with lead before they can react, then clean up the other two. You have saved the last two hostages.

4. Find secret passage & rescue Damescue, Night of the Jackel

With the hostages secure, head into the hallway leading further into the embassy. While you are going down the hall, the wall bursts open and you are fired upon. If you walk quickly, you can avoid the guard outside without any danger. Into the kitchen. If you have any Grenades, chuck one to the left when you enter, then duck back out. There are three guards in a small area over there, so hopefully take a couple out. Run and kill the rest, then go into the next corridor. As you move past the broken elevator in the hallway, two guards. Take them out, then proceed. there is another guard around the corner. After dispatching him, M tells you to find the secret passage. it is hidden behind the British flag in the rotunda. Go inside and find Dr. Natalya Damescue. Talk to her and go into the elevator.

5. Destroy helicopter gunship, Night of the Jackel

When you exit the elevator, watch out for the guard above and to the left. You can take him out quickly by shooting the barrels behind him. Enter the next room to find Carla the Jackal, international terrorist extraordinaire, waiting for you.

When fighting Carla the Jackal, use the tall stacks of crates as cover. When she is firing at you, retreat behind them. When the stream of bullets subsides, jump out and fire until she begins again.

When she moves down the catwalk further, she is standing right in front of oil drums. Fire at them and it does some major damage. It takes a few bullets to make her move on to her next spot: right in front of a big vat of acid. Head over the right side of the room, where behind a stack of crates is a switch. Hit it to push her in the vat, ending the confrontation.

Go up the ladder and into the door on the catwalk. Outside on the helipad. Quickly head to the left to pick up the MRL-22, then around the perimeter to pick up more ammo for it (there are two rockets in each of the far corners). During this time, a helicopter gunship comes.

The gunship has two attacks: machine guns and rockets. The rockets do serious damage, so avoid them. You can anticipate them because the helicopter stays still without firing the machine guns before shooting them.

To damage the gunship, use the MRL-22. do not use the Fixed Guns, because they cannot be aimed very high or low and you must stay still while firing. When the gunship staying still, fire rockets at it. If you run out, switch to the FSU-4 or another rapid-fire gun to finish it off. When the helicopter stops firing and starts to spin around, it is only a matter of waiting for it to crash before the objective is complete.

More body armor can be found outside the embassy. This suit is located in a display case on a street past the first sniper.

A Frinesi is also located in a store window near the body armor mentioned above.

Look for some body armor at the bottom of the stairwell you arrive in when you go inside the embassy.

This suit of body armor is located near the computer in the room with three terrorists guarding the last two hostages.

As you rescue Damescue, look near the elevator to find some body armor.

At the bottom of the elevator, shoot the oil drums on the lower level of the catwalk. Behind them is some body armor.

This is found on the upper catwalk in the room where you fight Carla the Jackal.

When you go outside to the helipad, look to the left. there is a suit of body armor near some crates. Use it to heal yourself during the fight with the helicopter gunship.
