Suit up for another rescue mission. This time you have to safely escort a group of pinned U.N. Troops out of a hot zone. Once again it takes all living to get the bonus Ghost. No time limit this time, but do not let that comfort you.

Mission Objectives
  • Clear The Crossroads
  • Meet U.N. troops
  • Extract U.N. Troops
  • X. Keep all Troops alive
Bridge Of Pain

Move directly ahead of your starting point. You cross a hill and then move southwest to a road that winds to a bridge with very little visibility due to fog cover.

Before the bridge lies a patrol group and a guard shack along the trees to the southwest. The trick is to defeat the 3 soldiers while being sure to hit the enemy in the shack too. As soon and you open fire he is heading to sound an alarm across the bridge.

Best thing to do is to hit the patrols then pull back your sniper and hit the shack guard as he goes across the bridge. When he is down, clean up what your team has not defeated yet and move to the bridge it is self.

On the bridge, take your sniper and draw a bead to the guard post on the opposite side. If you can get a long enough distance, you can defeat him before he even moves.

Send Bravo to the eastern edge of the bridge near the trees. They are going to provide cover fire. it is important they are placed well or brought in, because as you cross the bridge, the crossroads patrols are going to attack. This is nine man attack with one machine gun and one grenade launcher to deal with.

Most of the opposition is to the south of the bridge. Keep on the left side of the bridge, going in and out of the railing. This provides maximum cover. Look over the side of the bridge to defeat troops in the southern woods. Expect around four of them scattered in the trees. After taking them out some enemies charge up the road. You can also take these out from the bridge if needed.

When you eliminate all of the soldiers, the crossroads will be abandoned. Move to the northwest and take aim of a small shed that is sitting with the door open. Using this as cover you can get clear shots into the open area of the woods ahead. There will be patrols in the area. Hold your position until one of the units comes into view of the open area. After you fire on them, most likely the second platoon will have taken cover nearby and needs to be hunted and removed as well.

Lead Village

Alpha and Bravo are going to need to diverge again. Take Alpha through the woods to the west and Bravo up the eastern side of the road. Taking control of Alpha move up to the village's outer walls. Here there will be four enemies positioned on or near the walls. Quickly take them out.

Once you drop them, return to Bravo. You should be east of the road with the village directly ahead of you. Run immediately ahead being aware that there are 2 men just as you get into sight of the village. They need to be take down as you are on the run. Be sure to take them out as you do not want them against your back as you make for the village.

Inside the village ruins are four last Russians that need to be eliminated to free the U.N. group. They are scattered across the village. Keep together and seek them out. Once dead, collect the U.N. Team and prepare to escape.

They Have Many Friends.

You must double time back to the crossroads but expect a surprise. The entire area is full of reinforcements. 10 Soldiers, 5 per team are waiting. The Peacekeepers may both come with you, or just one. it is okay either way as long as when you hit the Drop Zone and both are alive.

Move both teams down the road hugging the eastern cover. When you come to the higher ground, take the sniper ahead (crawling) and scout the area. Most of the time the teams will be directly ahead. Be prepared to fight smart and cautious if at all possible. This battle will be very rough and possibly long. Never hurts to save before hand as well.

Move carefully back to the bridge and be sure to check out any possible movement for troops that might get the drop on you. Stay to the north while on the bridge and keep eyes peeled for the hill you made your fist attack on. It is infested with soldiers. Remember to remain in position until all of the threat is gone from the hill. Rockets are a great way to help this along.

On the other side of the hill a couple soldiers remain. Gather both of your teams on top of the hill and split them slowly down the slope to defeat the remainders before moving to the Drop Zone. Take out the two last Russians and get out of there!
