Introduction

B.O.B. finally convinced his dad to let him borrow the car for a date. But the robot crashes on planet Goth inhabited by metal-hungry androids who have seen a good meal crash on their planet. Blasting over 40 types of enemy over 45 levels of action, and using 6 gadgets to aid you as well as several weapons, you have to reach the end of the level in the time limit or you are turned to scrap metal.

Gray Matter was founded by Chris Gray in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Chris, fueled by the success of Infiltrator from Mindscape, went off on his own to develop games. Before problems with the Canadian government over labor issues and a general decline in the entertainment market brought Gray Matter to bankruptcy, it was Canada's largest game developer.

B.O.B. uses the same game engine as the Wayne's World video game, also developed by Gray Matter. Elements of the shooting, jumping, and boss battles are very similar between the two games.
