INTRODUCTION

Our first mac was a Motorola Computer Group Starmax 5000 Mac Clone we bought in 1995. We could not afford a real Apple Computer at the time, and when Apple allowed clones, we jumped on it. We then purchased a Power Computing Corporation PowerTower/Pro for the kids. System 7 was a cool system at that time. We used those machines till their circuits started showing, or at least till they could not update to OS 9. Games, Business, Songwriting, Story Writing, organization, and programming.

We had to order a G3 tower and other Real Apple computer to get into OS 9. Yes there were some troubled times but any bad day on a Mac beats any good day using windows.

Okay granted, the Mac may not be the best gaming machine, but I did not buy a computer to play games this is why we have the above listing of consoles — I bought it to edit movies, record music, write stories, and so forth, not to play games. But the Mac can and does play games just as good as your little tweaked gaming computer, and the games we may play on the Mac, well Aria for one, played allot of World of Warcraft.

Most of the games on this list are from the SYSTEM 7 ERA. A few System 8 games, and a small amount of system 9 games. Some games have been revived for emulation on Windows and Mac OS X. I did a short stint keeping up with the ability to play a few older games from the 1990s, but most of my time was spent with trying to keep up to date the ever changing landscape of operating systems, hacks, adaptors. and emulators. Playing was 20% of the time.

Aria, Kyriè, and myself had a blast playing these titles and will remember them as long as we can for fun times they gave us.

These are Discontinued, Out-of-Date, and End-of-Line

The games below are no longer available to be played, unless you have an older Mac that will play them. This list is for historical and archival purposes.

We no longer play games on the Mac since we did not buy a Mac to play games but to be productive with Music Production and Recording, Film Production and Editing, and Website Design and Magement.
